Get to Know Dr. Nazia Parveen
Dr. Parveen says that nothing feels better than making a personal connection with someone while also helping them. Truly understanding where a patient is coming from and what they hope to accomplish by coming to see us makes providing the care they need so fulfilling, and as a caring dentist in Hanford, she’s eager to have the same experience with you and your loved ones.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
At a very young age, Dr. Parveen noticed when her family visited the dentist and the improvements it made to their quality of life. She decided that this was exactly what she wanted to do when she grew up. She says that dentistry is challenging and also very gratifying and humbling, which keeps her motivated and wanting to do better each day.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Parveen graduated with a bachelor’s in dentistry from the Manipal College of Dental Sciences in India in 2012. She then practiced general dentistry there for five years before moving to the United States in 2018. She attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2021.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Parveen lives in Visalia with her husband and their young son. Most of her time outside of work is dedicated to her son and making beautiful memories while he grows up so fast. Her parents and siblings live in India. In her free time, she enjoys reading, meeting new people, and engaging in cultural and community activities.
